Schedule content and channel posts with the Vivreal calendar

Calendar

The Vivreal calendar lets you visualize your pipeline and schedule when content and channel posts go live. Anything with a publish date appears on the calendar automatically — collection content, social posts, Stripe campaigns, everything.

Opening the Calendar

Tap the Calendar tab in the bottom navigation bar.

Calendar Views

The calendar supports multiple views you can switch between using the toolbar:

ViewBest For
MonthBig-picture planning, seeing publication density across weeks
WeekDetailed scheduling for the current or upcoming week
DayFocusing on a single day's content schedule

Use the Today button to jump back to the current date, and the arrow buttons to navigate forward or backward.

Scheduling Publish Dates

The calendar lets you schedule two kinds of things from one dialog:

  1. Content — objects in your collection groups. When a content item's publish date arrives, it becomes visible through the Client API.
  2. Channel posts — draft posts tied to an integration (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). When a channel post's publish date arrives, it fires automatically via an EventBridge schedule that actually posts to the platform.

Open the schedule dialog

Tap the + button or tap a date on the calendar to open the scheduling dialog.

Pick content or a channel

Choose from the Content or channel dropdown. Channels are marked with a blue Channel badge so they're easy to spot. The drafts for your selection (items with no publish date yet) show up in a table.

Queue items

Check the drafts you want to schedule. You can switch between content groups and channels and queue items from multiple at once — the queued count shows at the bottom.

Pick a date and time

Use the date and time pickers to choose when the selected items should go live.

Schedule

Tap Schedule to set the publish date on every queued item. Content becomes visible through the Client API at that time; channel posts fire automatically via EventBridge at that time.

Rescheduling a channel post — moving its publish date — automatically cancels the old EventBridge schedule and creates a fresh one. Clearing the publish date cancels the schedule entirely. You don't need to touch EventBridge yourself.

Viewing Scheduled Items

Anything with a publish date appears on the calendar automatically — content and channel posts alike. Tap any item on the calendar to view its details or reschedule it.

Editing a Scheduled Item

Tap an item on the calendar to open the update dialog. From here you can:

  • Reschedule — change the publish date and time. For channel posts, the underlying EventBridge schedule is recreated automatically.
  • Draft — remove the publish date to take the item back to draft status. For channel posts, the EventBridge schedule is cancelled.

Tips for Effective Scheduling

  • Plan weekly — use the week view at the start of each week to map out your content schedule
  • Batch across surfaces — queue a mix of content and channel posts in one dialog, pick a date, ship it all at once
  • Review in month view — switch to month view to ensure consistent coverage across both content and social
