Deleting a Post
When you delete a post in Vivreal, it always disappears from Vivreal. Whether it also comes down from the platform you posted it to depends on the platform.
| Where you posted it | Deleting it in Vivreal |
|---|---|
| X | Takes it down from X for you |
| Takes it down from LinkedIn for you | |
| Takes it down from your Facebook Page for you | |
| Removes it from Vivreal only. It stays live on Instagram | |
| TikTok | Removes it from Vivreal only. It stays live on TikTok |
So on Instagram and TikTok, deleting the post in Vivreal is only half the job. Open the app and delete it there too.
Why Instagram and TikTok are different
This is a limit the platforms set, not a corner Vivreal cut. The two are not even the same case.
TikTok does not let any outside tool delete a post. Deleting is something you do in the TikTok app, and no other app can do it for you.
Instagram does allow it, but only for tools that connect through Facebook. Vivreal connects to your Instagram account directly rather than through Facebook, and Meta does not let one app do both. So the door exists, and Vivreal is not standing at it.
Worth knowing rather than worrying about. It affects deleting only. Posting, scheduling and your post analytics all work the same way on both.
Deleting on Instagram or TikTok
Both take a few seconds in the app you already have:
Open the app
Open Instagram or TikTok on your phone and go to your own profile.
Find the post
Tap the post you removed in Vivreal.
Delete it
Use the app's own menu on that post and choose Delete.
Do the app first if you want to be sure
Once a post is gone from Vivreal, it is easier to find in the app than in your Vivreal history. If you are deleting an Instagram or TikTok post, taking it down in the app first and in Vivreal second saves you hunting for it.
