Cannot Log In
You are on the login page, you are sure your details are right, and it will not let you in. Work down this list. The first item solves most of them.
1. Use your username, not your email
The top box on the login page asks for your username, not your email address. It is the most common reason a login fails.
Your username is the one you picked when you created your account. It is also the name your team sees next to your changes.
If you have been typing your email address, try your username instead.
2. Look up your username
Cannot remember it? On the login page, tap Look up your username.
Enter the email address you signed up with and we will email your username to you. Nothing changes on your account, so it is safe to do this any time.
If the email does not arrive, the address you entered may not be the one on your account. Try any other address you might have used.
3. Reset your password
If the username is right and the password still will not work, tap Reset password on the login page.
Enter your email
Enter the email address on your account. We send you a reset link.
Open the link from the email
Opening it takes you to a page where you set a new password. Open it on the device you want to sign in on.
Choose a new password
Your new password needs all five of these:
- At least 8 characters
- One capital letter
- One lowercase letter
- One number
- One symbol, such as
!or?
The page ticks each one off as you type, so you can see what is still missing.
Sign in with the new password
You are sent back to the login page. Use your username and the password you just set.
If the reset page says the link is no longer valid
Reset links do not last forever, and they stop working once you have used one. Just tap Reset password on the login page again to get a fresh one.
4. Confirm your email address
When you create an account we email you a link to confirm the address. Until you open it, you cannot sign in.
If the login page tells you the account is not confirmed, tap Resend Verification and open the link in the new email. Check your junk or spam folder if it does not appear within a few minutes.
5. Check how you signed up
Vivreal has two ways in:
| How you signed up | How you sign back in |
|---|---|
| Username and password | Type your username and password |
| Continue with Google | Tap Continue with Google. There is no separate Vivreal password |
| Continue with LinkedIn | Tap Continue with LinkedIn. There is no separate Vivreal password |
If you started with Google or LinkedIn, resetting a password will not help, because there is no password to reset. Use the same button you used the first time.
6. Read the message on the page
When a sign-in fails, Vivreal tells you what to do next right under the box, and gives you the matching link: reset your password, resend your confirmation email, or look up your username. It is worth a read before trying anything else.
Still stuck
Tap the support button in the corner of the login page, or email support@vivreal.io. Tell us the email address on your account and what the page said. Do not send us your password.
Once you are back in, the dashboard tour shows you where everything lives.
